• Initial Consultation

  • No Charge (30 minutes)

    • The purpose of the initial consultation is to assess your situation and determine which concerns may be actionable from our perspective and whether our services and consulting fees will provide value to you.  Initial consultations typically last up to 15-30 minutes and may involve a short document review during the consultation.  Request a free c consultation by clicking here.

• Baseline Hourly Rate

  • $175 hourly rate (4 hr minimum)

    • Our consultants bill on an hourly basis (minimum of 4 hour retainer), with no obligation on your part to commit to large or ongoing retainers or continuation of services. This provides the client maximum flexibility in structuring services to their needs in consideration of costs. However, there may be exceptions in certain cases as determined by the consultant.  For example, if the scope of work is clearly expected to exceed the minimum retainer and we believe we cannot meet client minimum expectations within the minimum retainer. Otherwise, you simply retain a consultant for the amount of hours you believe needed or as agreed to in discussion with a consultant.  There is no obligation other than the minimum retainer (case dependent). Our hourly rate is all inclusive and there are no hidden fees.  Time is billed in 1/10th hr increments (6 minute increments).

    • Consultants are not obligated to accept cases or clients under any circumstances.

• EEO Informal (Pre-Complaint) Stage Service

  • $950 Flat Rate Fee

  • The flat rate fee includes mediation/settlement support services as described at no additional cost.

  • The flat rate fee includes Initial Case Assessment (case evaluation) services as described at no additional cost.

  • Coverage includes entire period from pre-counselor initial contact to filing of formal complaint.

    • Strategic Expert Case Development and Complaint Preparation.  This flat fee provides a comprehensive review of your workplace issues within the jurisdiction of the EEOC including "mixed cases".  We will prepare complaint and requested remedies for submission to your local EEO counselor to initiate the complaint. We will develop your supporting evidence profile, provide advice and assistance throughout the informal stage of the process, including settlement efforts and close-out counseling. Finally, in accordance with Title 29 CFR 1614.107, we will finalize your complaint for your formal complaint submission and assist you in filing it.  

    • Real-Time Guidance.  We offer continuous real-time guidance throughout the initial intake process and beyond, ensuring you receive the support you need when interacting with the agency EEO Counselor.  

    • Constant Availability.  Your consultant will be available 24/7 during the period of provided services via a dedicated line.

• EEO Formal (Complaint) Stage Service

  • $975 Flat Rate Fee

  • The flat rate fee includes mediation/settlement support services as described at no additional cost.

  • The flat rate fee includes Initial Case Assessment (case evaluation) services as described at no additional cost.

  • Existing clients of this service receive a $200 discount on the Review of Report of Investigation (ROI) issued in Connection with their service.

  • Coverage includes entire period from filing of formal complaint to the end of the EEO investigation (ROI).

    • Strategic Complaint Preparation.  This flat fee provides a comprehensive review (if needed) of your workplace issues within the jurisdiction of the EEOC.  In accordance with Title 29 CFR 1614.107​, we will finalize your claims and remedies for your formal complaint if needed and assist you in filing your formal complaint with your agency and prepare responses to any agency correspondence concerning your formal complaint.   We will develop your supporting evidence profile if needed.  

    • Strategic Real-Time Guidance.  During the period of the EEO investigation, we will provide advice and assistance in interacting with the investigator, make evidentiary recommendations for inclusion in the ROI, review affidavits and rebuttals,  advise you on how to obtain a fully developed investigative product and guide you through the entire process making continuing recommendations. 

    • Constant Availability.  Your consultant will be available 24/7 during the period of provided services via a dedicated line.

• Reasonable Accommodation (RA) Application Service

  • $800 Flat Rate Fee

  • The flat rate fee includes Initial Case Assessment (case evaluation) services as described at no additional cost.

  • Coverage includes entire period from application development (Initial Case Assessment (ICA) and pre-application) to  filing for reconsideration if your request is denied, or any stage in between. 

    • Strategic Application Preparation.  This flat fee provides a comprehensive analysis of your situation that requires a Reasonable Accommodation (RA).   We assess your qualifications for RA and strategically prepare your application package to anticipate and counteract potential agency denials or refusal to render a decision (becoming increasingly common under the Trump administration).  We assist you in identifying, compiling, and legally framing all required supporting medical documentation and evidence to build the strongest possible case for your RA.​​​  

    • We Build in Contingency Planning. Aside from approval, your application preparation is developed specifically to address two critical potential outcomes: Agency Denial (Reconsideration): We ensure the record is optimized to support a strong Request for Reconsideration should your initial RA application be denied and In the event your request is ultimately denied after reconsideration, or if the agency fails to render a decision in a timely manner, the materials developed through this process will be legally prepared to form the foundation of an immediate EEO Complaint against the agency.

    • Constant Availability.  Your consultant will be available 24/7 during the period of provided services via a dedicated line.

    • This flat rate fee does not include additional casework. The client may elect to secure a retainer as/if necessary.

• SF-50 Document Review (Notification of Personnel Action)

  • $150 Flat Rate Fee (for multiple SF50's)

    • Identify Errors.  Primarily used to resolve questions concerning the coding of an SF50 (documentation of a personnel action) This flat rate fee provides direct review of up to FIVE SF-50’s (sometimes multiple SF-50’s need to be reviewed to determine the accuracy of the SF-50 in question).  Typical applications include accuracy review, interpretation of Nature of Action Codes (NOA), legal authorities, employee data, position data, and remarks as well as instructive guidance to obtain corrections or expungements to extent possible. 

    • Get Actionable Expert Advice & Next Steps.  Client is advised of findings, recommendations, and next steps as applicable via a 30 minute closeout phone conference with consultant following a review of relevant documents.

    • This flat rate consulting fee does not include additional casework. The client may elect to secure a retainer as necessary.

• Federal Job Application Security / Suitability Review 

  • $225 Flat Rate Fee (existing clients receive a $25 discount on this service)

    • Get Expert Advice So You Can Prepare.  Concerned about impact of a background check? This flat rate fee provides direct review of your federal application documents by a consultant and a followup 30 minute phone consultation in regard to potential security and suitability issues specifically in connection with submission of the OPM form OF-306 Declaration for Employment and your resume. NOTE: This is not a service applicable to national security clearances. The consultant will review all documents in connection with your application including the associated vacancy announcement (client provides) and consult with you on security and suitability concerns and best methods in handling and responding to these concerns.

    • This flat rate fee does not include additional casework. The client may elect to secure a retainer as/if necessary.

• “Second Opinion” or Document Review

  • $300 Flat Rate Fee

  • Existing clients receive a $50 discount on this service.

    • This flat rate provides limited document review and up to a one hour phone consultation regarding nearly any issue and associated document(s) review.

    • Have an Expert Review Your Documents.  Typical applications include, but are not limited to, review and consultation of performance documents, Last Chance Agreements (LCA’s), assessing probationary status, reviewing client discovery requests for appropriateness, review of counseling letters, formal EEO complaint submission, responses to proposed disciplinary or adverse actions such as reprimands, suspensions, removals, demotions and mandated reassignments (not all inclusive). And, a review of documents or strategy created by union’s in connection with your issue as applicable. 

    • Get Actionable Recommendations.  Our consultant will conduct a thirty minute closeout phone conference to provide you findings and recommendations in consideration of your concerns.  

    • This flat rate fee does not include additional casework. The client may elect to secure a retainer as/if necessary.​

• Mediation or Settlement Preparation

  • $400 Flat Rate Fee

  • Existing clients of our EEO Informal Pre-Complaint Stage Services or our EEO Formal (Complaint) Stage Service receive this service at no cost in connection with their service.

    • This service typically applies to mediation or settlement negotiations preparation applicable to matters in EEO, MSPB, arbitration, Last Chance Agreements (LCA), agency ADR programs, alternative discipline options, and grievance resolution.

    • Let an Expert Prepare You.  This flat rate provides limited document review in support of any type of mediation or settlement efforts and up to a 60 minute phone consultation to prepare the client for mediation or settlement negotiations with the agency.  This fee also includes  review of any resulting (subsequent) settlement offer or agreement. This service prepares the employee to professionally present their case at mediation or settlement, advises on procedures and processes, conduct at the table, negotiation techniques, Human Resources methods of transacting settlement terms, and finalization of agreements and proposed settlement remedies.

    • This flat rate fee does not include additional casework. The client may elect to secure a retainer as/if necessary.

• Initial Case Assessment (ICA) (Case Evaluation)

  • $500 Flat Rate Fee

    • Comprehensive Analysis.  This service typically applies to all aspects of EEO, MSPB, arbitration (union grievance related), administrative grievances, denials (delays) of Within Grade Increases (WIGI), performance related issues, Workers Compensation claims, or FLRA cases such as Unfair Labor Practice Complaints against either federal agencies or federal unions (for example, Duty of Fair Representation (DFR) claims). Matters include (not all inclusive) , pre-complaint and formal complaint at both informal and formal stage of EEO, pre-hearing, EEO PCI Orders, status conferences, EEO Final Agency Decisions (FAD) and Final Agency Notices, agency proposed adverse actions (all suspensions, removals, and demotions), agency proposed disciplinary actions (suspensions of 14 days or less), MSPB initial appeals and review of MSPB Initial Decisions, arbitration, Unfair Labor Practice (ULP) complaints, negotiated grievances. We also conduct reviews and provide guidance concerning FERS Disability retirement applications and Worker’s Compensation claims.

    • Strategic Expert Guidance.  This flat fee provides a comprehensive review and determination of whether a client’s presented issue(s) is actionable and in what manner and forum and if it appears to cross over, known as a “Mixed Case Appeal or Complaint”.  The ICA or Case Evaluation includes a full review of evidence, one-hour phone conference with client to ascertain facts and circumstances, applicable research and application, as well as a one-hour closeout phone conference to provide the client with conclusive guidance on how and whether to proceed.  

    • This flat rate does not include additional casework such as preparing responses to proposed disciplinary or adverse actions, preparing MSPB appeal submissions, preparing EEOC claims, Review of EEOC ROI's, or initiating appeals of Final Agency Decisions (FAD) or MSPB Initial Decisions. The client may elect to secure a retainer as/if necessary.

• Review of EEO Report of Investigation (ROI)

  • $825 Flat Rate Fee

  • Existing clients of EEO Formal Complaint Stage Services receive a $200 discount on this service.

    • Let an Expert Fully Review Your Case.  This flat fee provides a full review of a completed (issued) Report of Investigation (ROI) including analysis of investigated (and amended) claims and evidence in consideration of burdens of proof at either an EEOC hearing, Final Agency Decision (FAD), or settlement negotiations.  

    • Get Expert Findings, Conclusions, and Recommendations.  Our consultant will conduct a telephone conference to discuss findings and recommendations concerning both the viability and sustainability of your claims in the context of either an elected Final Agency Decision (FAD) or request for an EEOC hearing as well as additional evidentiary options (discovery) prior to hearing. An assessment will also be conducted concerning settlement recommendations.  We will also,

      • Assess sustainability of claims at hearing in consideration of results of ROI, supplemental discovery, and evidentiary burdens of proof to include assessment of direct and circumstantial evidence.

      • Review and advise on requested remedies in consideration of investigative results of the Report of Investigation.

    • This flat rate fee does not include additional casework. The client may elect to secure a retainer as/if necessary.​

• Disciplinary or Adverse Action Response to Deciding Official

  • $900 Flat Rate Fee

  • The flat rate fee includes Initial Case Assessment (case evaluation) services as described above at no additional cost.

  • Coverage includes entire period from proposal to decision.

    • Comprehensive Analysis.  This flat fee offers a comprehensive analysis of the proposed action and evidence file, an interview with the affected employee to obtain all facts and circumstances, and ongoing advisory services during the period of service.

    • An Expert Prepares Your Written Response.  We will prepare your written response to the proposed action and assist you in developing and/or citing supporting evidence (as required).  This service also includes assistance with any agency proposed Last Chance Agreement (LCA) or settlement offer that may arise in connection with the action.  If employee is represented by a union, our consultants are willing to work side by side with them as authorized by our client.

    • We Advise You on Post Decision Appeal Rights & Next Steps.  Following the final decision on the proposed action by the agency, our consultant will thoroughly brief you on your appeal options, methods, deadlines, and litigation risks.  

    • This flat rate fee does not include additional casework. The client may elect to secure a retainer as/if necessary.​  ​

• MSPB and EEOC Hearing Support​

  • Fee Varies as estimated by consultant in consultation with, and agreement by, prospective client.  Typical costs range from $1,000 to $4,500 depending on complexity.  Estimated hours are calculated using our baseline hourly rates. 

  • ​The flat rate fee includes Initial Case Assessment (case evaluation) services as described above at no additional cost.

  • Coverage includes entire period from issuance of the EEOC or MSPB Acknowledgement Order to final decision by the Administrative Law Judge or as otherwise determined by client. 

    • This flat fee package provides comprehensive assistance throughout the entire process, including necessary filings, status conference preparation, discovery, motions, responses to agency motions, evidence and exhibits, case strategy and mapping, settlement assistance, and all other aspects related to hearings.​  Your consultant will be available 24/7 during the period of provided services via a dedicated line.​
